Open My account and choose Personal or Business. Personal subscribers sign in with their purchase email and activation key to see storage usage, their computer, license, and billing. Business users sign in with their email, password, and passkey to manage organization access, computers, shared storage, and billing.

Backup. CloudSync keeps recoverable, encrypted copies of the folders you choose on one computer. It does not sync files between devices.

Choose a personal plan on this website and complete secure Stripe checkout (monthly, in USD). No app is needed to purchase and no personal website password is required. After confirmed payment, save your CSYNC activation key from the confirmation page or your activation email. Enter the key in the app to activate the computer; one personal subscription covers one computer. Business uses a company storage pool and separately licensed computers.

Yes. Deactivate the old computer in Settings, install CloudSync on the new one, and activate it with your CSYNC key (or a replacement from support). To decrypt and restore your existing backups, import your original 24-word recovery phrase in Settings → Device — a newly generated phrase will not open old backups.

Backup pauses when the plan is full. It resumes once you free space, move to a larger plan, or explicitly enable overage in the app — overage is opt-in and off by default, so nothing is ever charged beyond your plan price unless you turn it on.

Files you delete locally stay restorable from your backup until they are purged; purged files cannot be recovered afterwards. Removing a folder stops future backups of it, but its already-backed-up copies are retained and can keep counting toward your storage until they are purged. Yes, if you have your CSYNC activation key (or request a replacement from support) and your 24-word recovery phrase: install CloudSync on the new computer, activate, import the original phrase, then restore from the Restore page.

The CSYNC activation key proves you paid and binds the subscription to a computer — it cannot decrypt files. The 24-word recovery phrase is the decryption key for your backups. Anyone with the phrase can decrypt every backup, and support will never ask for it. See Security for the full explanation.

If the original computer still works, open Settings → Device → Show recovery phrase in the app and save it now. If the computer is gone, wiped, or the app data was deleted and the phrase is lost, your backups cannot be decrypted — not by support, not by anyone. There is no backdoor and no reset.

Cancel from Plan & billing in your personal dashboard, or open subscription management from the app or purchase email. Access continues until the end of the already-paid month, and your backup catalog is removed 14 days after your paid period ends — export or restore anything you need before that.
